About Naïo Technologies

Naïo Technologies, the company behind the Naïo Jo, was founded in 2011 in Toulouse, France, by robotic engineers Aymeric Barthes and Gaëtan Séverac. The company develops, manufactures, and markets autonomous robots for agriculture, in close collaboration with farmers and winegrowers. The solutions tackle labour shortage, reduce physical strains, and help reduce soil erosion and the carbon footprint of farming and herbicide use. Naïo Technologies has deployed over 300 robots worldwide, and has a range of five robots, including the Dino, Jo, Orio, Oz, and Ted.

In 2021, Naïo Technologies raised 33 million USD in a fundraising round led by Mirova, the affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers dedicated to sustainable investment. The funds will be used to accelerate international expansion and more than double its fleet in operation over the next two years. The investors acknowledge Naïo Technologies’ growth strategy, as the company doubled its revenues in just one year.

The Naïo Jo is a versatile and efficient agricultural robot designed for use in narrow vineyards, row crops, and orchards. With its autonomous operation, GPS-RTK technology, and various tools and features, the Naïo Jo is an ideal solution for sustainable and efficient farming practices. Naïo Technologies, the company behind the Naïo Jo, is a pioneer in agricultural robotics, and its range of autonomous robots tackles labour shortage, reduces physical strains, and helps reduce the carbon footprint of farming and herbicide use.
